1000 steps for Gaza challenge!!

I am Hannah,Mcwann.

I was left serverly disabled by a road traffic accident in 2017. I have been working for my recovery ever since, I probably won’t recover but I enjoy being on my feet. A year ago I got a very supportive walker, i am not even walking I am relearning my gait(stepping ) pattern for walking, Recently I’ve been thinking about the 1000s of children in Gaza especially those still alive. What struggles they must face everyday, the search for food and water, the physiological trauma of losing parents and family members, here today gone tomorrow. We think about the children who have been killed but I think how many Of the children are like me, severely disabled.

I have all the support I could dream of , support workers, a family , I have my equipment which I use daily to ensure my body doesn’t deteriorate further. I can’t even imagine how many kids they are like me now severely disabled without food or water, without any support.

So I decided to do something about the way I feel.

On the 26th October, I am going to do a 1000 steps on my walker, I can’t do a 1000 in one go but I know God willing I can do half in the morning and half in the evening. My humble aim is to raise £5000 for the children of Gaza. Please help me raise my total and I will post a video of my steps, no matter how horrible they appear to me.

Do you want to join me in making a difference? I'm raising money in aid of Human Appeal and every donation will help. Thank you in advance for your contribution to this cause that means so much to me.
